Basement Bar
A fun loving couple in the city wanted to create a dark, cozy “speakeasy” in their basement. Growing up in South Philly, they were inspired by similar spaces their families would gather and entertain. Originally a storage space, we trenched the basement floor to gain an additional foot of ceiling height. Moody lighting and colors add to the speakeasy-vibe while the picture lights highlight local artwork.
