Roof Deck, Interior Stair
This busy family of five desired a roof deck that was easy to access and prime for entertaining. The finished project includes a new center stringer interior stair to access an intermediate patio, which lends drama to the interior living space. From the patio, a spiral stair leads the family and guests to the roof deck oasis that includes built-in bench seating with cushion storage below and trellis above, which can accept sunshades, lighting and fans. Other features include an outdoor service kitchen and dining area with additional built-in bench seating.
